The Cheap Sheep™
Originally designed for our Moutons du Mois line, the Cheap Sheep™
is a sturdy spindle, perfect for beginners or those who spin in
dangerous places. The rim weighted whorl guarantees a long spin!
The Swan™
Our premier spindle, built to perform. Both rim and center weighted. Offered in a 3, 2.5, and 2 inch whorl.
The Nina™
A bit heftier than the Swan, with a smooth, gentle spin, the
Nina is the perfect choice for plying or beginning spinners. 3" whorl.
The Navajo Spindle
Our beautiful Navajo spindles have no comparison. Available in both 16 and 32 inch lengths (for use seated on the floor/ground or in a chair.)
The FiberShip™
Our laceweight spindle, the FiberShip is meant to spin the
finest of threads. They are Tom's favorite spindle to make.
He maintains they are as fun to turn as they are to spin with.
The Mala™
The Nina's little sister, the Mala sports a two inch whorl. It makes a great beginning spindle in addition to being an all around excellent spinner.
And yes, we are still working on the return of the Moutons du Mois!
Our beautiful spindles are hand turned right here in Vermont using the best woods we can find. The hooks are individually formed and mounted, the whorls are notched for ease of use, and each spindle is fully tested before it leaves our shop.
