Berkeley: Giclée Print
Linda wanted to create a cow quilt. While searching for images of cows to draw from, she happened upon a photo of a Berkshire pig on the Billings Farm Museum website. He was so happy, so full of fun and joy, that he had to become the next quilt. Linda received permission from Billings Farm to use their photo to create Berkeley. Hopefully Berkeley will make an appearance at the annual Billings Farm Museum Quilt Show this year. For now, however, he resides above the studio mantle, smiling down at everyone who passes beneath.
David Putnam of Claremont Custom Framing in New Hampshire has done a superb job photographing Linda's quilts. Every stitch, every thread is visible in these wonderful photographs. On request, David will craft beautiful giclée prints.
The prints are made one at a time on archival 100% heavy cotton rag paper, with archival inks. Each print is allowed to cure for several days, and treated with a fine lacquer coat to further ensure the beauty of the print will last a lifetime. Prints are then placed in a glassine sleeve prior to shipping. Each print will be signed by Linda.
Prints are offered in large and small sizes, and vary according to the image.
Berkeley Print:
Large is 20 by 24 inches inches. Small is 16 by 19 inches
Due to the individual nature of the printing, please allow 2-4 weeks for orders.
