FiberShips™ generally start at 0.6 ounce and up, based on turning and wood. Shafts are turned from dyed, laminated US Birch, as in our hooks and knitting needles. Our shafts don’t warp! The spindle hooks are bent from strong copper wire that holds it shape. Whorls can be turned from laminates or hardwoods. Shaft lengths vary per spindle. Tom likes variety!
