Heavy Metal™ Needles
Heavy Metal solid stainless interchangeable knitting needles from DyakCraft! Tips are available in three lengths - 1.75, 3.5 and 5 inches. Sizes offered run from US 0/2.00 mm to US 3/3.25 mm.Our Heavy Metal™ Needles feature a seamless join and swivel cables. Designed by DyakCraft, the needles have the same seamless convex tip found on our Darn Pretty™ and Northern Light™ needles.
We do not plate or electro polish our needles. The Heavy Metal™ finish is smooth and, with a little use, becomes quite polished without the use of unnecessary chemicals.
NOTE - if you are a tight knitter, consider putting a smaller size of tip on the left side, and a larger tip - the size needed to make gauge - on the right. Knitting will flow much more smoothly this way!
Needle tips are sold in pairs. Cables are sold separately. Purchase any six pairs of Heavy Metal™ tips and receive a case and three coated wire cables. As a rule, with 5 inch tips we send 16, 21 and 29 inch cable lengths. With 3.5 inch tips, we send 16, 21 and 39 inch cable lengths. With 1.75 inch tips, we send 5, 12 and 16 inch cable lengths. If you want different lengths, please let us know. Case pockets are sized to hold 0-3.
